A boy named Tom (Joseph Gordon Levitt) meets a girl named Summer (Zooey Deschanel). The boy falls in love with the girl for the next 500 days. The big question is: does she? Told in a non-linear fashion, the film is nothing but charming and magical in capturing the joy of falling in love at the first sight.
